Master - Journal Article Review Continuing Education Activity: The Editor of a journal that publishes articles related to medical physics can apply to become a Director of a Journal Article Review Continuing Education Activity. If approved by CAMPEP, the Director can award medical physics continuing education credits (MPCEC) to an individual who reviews a medical physics article(s) published in the journal of which the Director serves as Editor.

Initial approval will be for 12 months. At end of the 12 month period an audit will be conducted by the CAMPEP Continuing Education Credit Review Committee (CECRC). If approved, the Journal Article Review Continuing Education Activity will be approved for an additional 3 year period. The appropriate application fee to be submitted.

An application for a Journal Article Review Continuing Education Activity must be submitted to CAMPEP every 4 years. (Note: Following a change in editor at a journal or the editor's designate for managing the MPCEC program, a new application must be submitted to continue the program).

Update - Journal Article Review Continuing Education Activity: Each time within the approved 4 year period the applicant wishes to grant credit, the applicant completes an update form with the articles that have been reviewed and the maximum number of credits they wish to grant reviewers. The appropriate application fee to be submitted with EACH update.
